This came to me from Germany 4 years ago - as Echeveria agavoides 'Giant Purple Black Tips'. It's been outside for a few months, and this is the best it's ever looked. The temps from 26 F and up haven't bothered it at all, but there was a sheet of clear plastic over it on those nights.
I love the "artichoke" look this plant acquires over time with the right amount of sun exposure.
It's hard to get a feel for size from a picture, but this plant is 10" across.

Never seen one like it. Unless you count the blue ones at Lowe's
