Palo Rojo tree (Cercidium x sp. Palo Rojo)

Post by Meangreen94z »

Hello. Any one know of an online source for this Palo Verde variant/hybrid? I have a local friend who was growing several forms of Palo Verde and this variant took basically no damage(“tip burn”) after last February. Where he was at saw 5 days straight below freezing and 2 nights of 6*F. Other forms including Desert Museum either were killed to the ground and are coming back from the roots, or were killed outright.

Arizona Wholesale Growers looks to be the original source for these, for those out in Arizona or visiting. They show only 15 gallon and up though as far as availability.
