Ever since I started seeing the round bulb-ed plants in ceramic containers pop up on my IG feed a few weeks ago I've been on a hunt to try to buy them here in the US. I'm not sure if its because they are that rare, or they are CITES protected ? so it is difficult to find them.
I was able to find some FB posts or IG that claims to be selling them from Cameroon, but Im a bit skeptical on how real the deal is since they're telling me to pay with worldrimit / crypto currency, and 2 different sellers seems to have very similar payment details.
I figured I should just ask here, if anyone has a lead to buy some seedlings here in the US or can offer some insight on the plants.
Thanks !

I have purchased Pachypodiums from both of these sellers, although neither lists
P. gracilius for sale right now. It might be worthwhile to contact them to see if they could get that species. I'm very happy with the plants I received from both places.

This site lists some Pachys, but I haven't ordered anything from them yet:

There are several other species that have the squat habit similar to
P. gracilius.
Pachypodium brevicaule, densiflorum, eburneum, cactipes, bispinosum and horombense are somewhat similar.
P. horombense seems to be offered for sale fairly often.

Paradise Found Nursery has among the best pachypodium inventory, it’s currently depleted, but they constantly update with species that come and go. I would check weekly(they usually update Sunday night) or email them.
