Hello, let me introduce myself, I am a 74 year old man and always have been interested in succulents.
It started in 3th class off the school where the teacher was also fond of cactee.
He gave me a small plant which later seems to be an Opuntia microdasys, yes, including a lot of mean little spines who especially found their way between my fingers.
I don't have them anymore but studied later on an agricultural school for 6 years and graduated as a florist.
Now, retired I still have some cactee from my childhood as there is a Lophophora williamsii, now about 60 years old and of course a lot of offspring.
I don't have a greenhouse, in summer my collection is outside, in winter in our living room .
I will post some pictures and especially one of a big brother who I inherited from the Granddad of a friend of me and I don't know which one it is.
