Just hoping to find out what this purchase from the clearance section might be?

Anyone else have any thoughts? Do have any photos of A. ferox in its juvenile form?

Tbh this does not give me ferox vibes at all. If I am not mistaken the inner leaf bases look like there may be some striping going on. This may be a clue as to what it could be, but I do not think ferox.
Ferox leaves are wider and generally thicker even when young also feels like the wrong kind of green color but that can be due to lighting.
Unfortunately disagreeing with the ferox suggestion is all I have, I do not have a suggestion as to what it might be.

These are terrible photos of my ferox seedlings sown right at the start of 2021. Nothing like the OP's plant.

It was a clearance plant. Not that it makes I'm right i just think it has the low light grown look of a A.ferox. I could be wrong. I once bought what I thought were badly grown small A. marlothii and they grew to be my own A. ferox. When the OP plants are growing a better chance for an accurate ID.

I don't have any firm ideas of what this is, but I have some firm ideas about what it isn't and I'm afraid Aloe ferox is one of them

Big box around here has been stocking a lot of 'Safari Rose' which does look a bit like that.

It reminds me of barbara-jeppeae in some respects, but it doesn't quite feel right. The teeth are not the same, for one. Definitely not ferox though.

I guess it has too many upright leaves for A. ferox. After that it looks like a hundred other Aloes grown in shade.

No way. Wrong color and leaf morphology.
