This potted agave developed brown spots and over time the new leaves have come in and look nice and healthy. Can anyone tell me the likely reason for the spots? Burned or too little water?
Thanks
Mark

Re: Brown spots on an agave.
I think it's edema - a somewhat enigmatic result of putting a plant into a hot dark place, such as a car trunk or a closed trailer, for a short period of time. I wouldn't worry about it. Pretty soon all the evidence will be gone. Nice job growing it since!
