Aloe ramosissima

HI All
new here and looking at buying my first Aloe ramosissima. I have this plant available to buy locally to me, does it looks a bit sick, some tips are brown and there is some yellow around the top of the bulbs as well. any advice if this is ok or should I steer clear.

It looks a little thirsty and it has some snail (?) damage, but yeah I don't see anything obviously wrong with it! Give it a wiggle in the pot, and poke around the base for soft spots.
