Both terschekeii??

I swapped two different people in the fall for some terschekeii seedlings (not even going to try to say the genus since I've seen like three or four different answers on what it actually is and I don't know which is the most current/correct). Finally got them in temporary pots.

Are they all terschekeii? The ones on the right have more spines and the spines look different. Also ribs seem a bit different. Is there a lot of variety amongst this species? Mainly just want to know before trialling them outside next winter. The one on the back right has an extra rib, but it came from the same grower as the front right and looks exactly the same so I don't think that's anything.

Yes, they are quite variable.
