That is one fantastic Pachypodium, must be pretty old and very heavy.

I remember when they added that. They had just come in to the market- I almost bought one that same year at the Dry Garden Nursery. I thought it was kind of hideous. I'm not a monstrose/fasciated guy.
I also notice- this is the only plant they have that is not the straight species and form. Somebody must have loved that plant in the department since it goes against the "It must be asccessioned with wild collection notes" for most of what they have that's not of course confiscated -like the poached Cycads that grace the entrance.
It seems out of place to me.
