Re: Huernia hystrix ssp parvula
Nice! My SO is starting to get into these. Is there anything you can do to encourage these into flowering? Our collection is still small and so far mostly inside. When we moved I gave my small collection of Stapelias and Huernias away (clearly knowing what I know now, I should have held on to them), because I did not have a good place to keep them initially with my plants sitting packed in the back yard for the first few months. So now I will be trying to acquire some.
It is what it is!

Basically age and sunshine for me but yours may be too strong and need shading.
I give a weak feed with each watering.

Re: Huernia hystrix ssp parvula
Thanks!
I know they grow here as ground cover in pretty much full shade, so outside is definitely doable but not straightforward.

I’m afraid I have no experience of growing them outside. Can’t help you there!
