Thanks. The Brahea and Sabal species I went with are mostly
Mexican species that grow in the same areas as certain Agave and other xeric species. Here are some great pictures of localities where they co-exist.

Similar appearing palms at this stage. The armata has teeth on the petiole, and eventually will have a thicker trunk. The calcarea has been much faster growing.
