Thanks for letting me join this forum. Hello to one and all. I really look forward to learning from everyone. My name is Rob Kluson and I’m an American Expat living in Andalucia, Spain. I’m retired Agroecology faculty from the Univ of Florida, USA, and I’m networking here to share my expertises. I’m particularly interested in eco restoration projects in Spain’s desertification areas and the potential of desert crops, eg., agave & N Fix plants, that can contribute to these eco restoration efforts. Thanks . . .

Your local plants like Caralluma europaea, and Chamaerops humilis are interesting species that are well worthy of cultivation.

BTW, it's a good idea to fill in some data (especially your location) on your profile for the benefit of all who didn't read your intro.
